FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!

I can finally enter the contest! ^^ (and if they let me) And my entry theme is:

Dun dun dun DUN!

Sleeping TILL NOON!

I know the contest is supposed to be summer-themed. And for the yamis x hikaris contest I started to draw this awesomly cute pic of malik and Marik w/ fireflies and stuff (well, it was cute in my mind) cause I officially declare that I CANNOT DRAW PEOPLES KISSING! >.< Which sucks. Anyway, I started drawing this instead, and my ever going imagination started to kick in. What's the one answer your always going to get when you ask someone what they did during the summer. Almost always they say 'sleep in/ sleep till noon', even if it's in a joking mannar first. And I'm like 'yeah, and if you have a cute boyfriend you go at it like rabbits the night before.... and THEN you sleep til noon the next morning! ^^'

And I don't know about anyone else, but during the school year, even on the weekend, I can't sleep that long. So it is kinda a summer thing ya know?

So yeah, my colored pencil skills are getting better! ^^ And personaly I think this is the best pic of Ryou I've ever drawn in my life. And Kura's hair took me forever for some strange reason. SQUEE! ^-^ Aren't they just ADORABLE!!!

Anyway, I'm on a drawing spree. MY ARTIST BLOCK IS GONE! I so feel like drawing non-stop, but I have to finish up this stupid social studies project. My partner was gone from school today and I got like no work done...

I'm going to scan this pic at school either tomorrow or the day after, I'll get a better shot that way and you can see the 'rest' of the detail. I just needed to put it up before the contest ended.

Note: this doesn't have to be a shonen-ai pic. There are some fanfics where they just... sleep in the same bed. Not perverted like, so get your heads out of the gutter! (For those who don't want to don't worry, mine never leaves either! ^^) So yeah, the pic swings both ways...

Yes, I did use a chobit picture as reference and I did spend like two hours trying to get the pose right. It looks similar, but I didn't trace it.

How’s everyone? Heard from Yami or Malik or anyone else I care about lately?
How’s your university course going? I couldn’t be bothered to go to uni yet – it’d just be more money that I’d have to pay.
So how’s Bakura? What’s his murder count now? Tell him I said hi and that I miss him.
Yugi could’ve sworn he saw Bakura blush before the dark spirit turned his head away.
I miss everyone. I WANT TO COME HOME!
